Parents Learning Together Series #2: Social Media, Smart Phones and Your Teen

This second session in Burnaby South PAC’s Parents Learning Together series will discuss how we can help our teens manage their social media and phone use in a healthy and balanced manner.

Noam Samet, Burnaby South’s Safe Schools Specialist, will present ways parents can help their teens form a healthy mindset and approach to their use of social media and other forms of digital media. He will address four critical concerns: 1) Constant connectivity 2) Conflict/drama that escalates on online platforms 3) Online bullying 4) Intimate image sharing.
